We have a carefully structured Religious Education programme in line with the Hertfordshire Agreed Syllabus which is followed throughout the school.

As a church school, we have close links with St Peter and St Paul’s Church.  The Rector is a Governor and regularly visits the school and the children attend church monthly.  You are welcome to attend these services, the dates of which are given in newsletters and on the school website.  Other world religions are also studied during lessons.

There is a daily act of collective worship, which takes a variety of forms. and each class leads an assembly once a term to which parents are invited.  Parents have the right to withdraw children from Religious Education lessons and from the daily act of collective worship but, as a Church of England School, we hope that all will take part.  Should you wish to withdraw your child from Religious Education and worship, please contact the Headteacher in order to discuss the matter and make appropriate arrangements.
