School Uniform

  A uniform give as school and its pupils and identity. It bears the school logo and we believe it is essential in helping to establish standards. Every child must wear the correct school uniform on each school day.

Uniform can be ordered at any time directly from our uniform supplier at Mapac. or via the Tesco's uniform website Alternatively uniform can be purchased through the school office once a term.

We strongly suggest that all clothes are named clearly so that mislaid items can be quickly returned.


Polo Shirt
Polo shirts are pale blue and can be ordered with the school crest from Mapac or

White shirts may be worn with a school tie (available from the office). If a vest or T-shirt is worn underneath it should be plain white. 

In summer, an alternative for girls is either a blue or yellow check or striped dress.


Trousers and Skirts
All trousers and skirts must be plain grey and appropriate for school wear.


Sweatshirt, Pullover or Buttoned Cardigan
Sweatshirts and pullovers and cardigans should be dark blue in colour and either plain or with the school crest.  Sweatshirts with the school crest are available from Mapac or


Socks and Tights
Socks and tights should be plain in colour: grey, navy, black or white.


School shoes (sandals in summer) should be of a plain style and dark colour with heels no more than 5cm high.  Trainers may be brought into school to wear during playtimes and lunchtimes.


P.E. Kit
All children must have P.E. kit in school at all times; this should be kept in a suitable P.E. bag. Long hair should be tied back and absolutely no jewellery, including earrings, should be worn.
Kit: Navy T-shirt printed with the school crest, plain shorts and plimsolls. Sports fleeces are also available with the school crest. Trainers are advisable for outdoor games.  Some children may need football boots and they will be advised when appropriate.


The wearing of jewellery is not recommended.  Pupils with pierced ears may wear a simple stud only.  Watches may be worn but removed for all games and PE activities.


Pupils with long hair must have it tied so as not to interfere with normal school activities such as art and games.

  Nail Varnish and False Nails
The wearing of nail varnish or false nails is not permitted. 

It is recommended that pupils wear reflective armbands during winter months to help reduce accidents.  Safety and health considerations also apply to the recommendations about shoes, sports wear, jewellery and hair.
